Going into this process I was a little nervous but at the time I didnt know which direction to take with my debt. I walked thru this debt settlement process and I am so glad I did. They help my hand every step of the way. I have officially had all 6 of my accounts settled in full and I am not seeing the process come full circle and I am so glad I jumped in and made the decision. Every time I speak to a *** on the phone (who I could barely understand) they told me something different entirely. Finally, ******* emailed me that she has settled my last account, she just needed two more payments, which I sent. That was almost a year ago & it still shows the account NOT settled. I entered into an agreement to consolidate and reduce my debt/loans with the ************ using the Palisade Legal group. The original communications stated it would reduce my debt by over 50 percent. The agreement was to pay approximately $800 per month over a 48th month period. I have been working with Palisade Legal Group for 1.5 years now. I have 4 accounts they are dealing with. Three of the four have been settled. I am now being sued by the largest account because they are tired of not getting any payments. There has been no information provided to me of how much money they need in order to reach a settlement. I pay ****** a month to Palisade. Now I am being told "we need more money". I feel like Palisade screwed me over. Worst company ever. They nickel and dime you. Try to fast talk you and keep inaccurate records. If I wasn't so far tethered with this company, I would sever ties immediately
After paying them $930 for over 1.5 years, never missing a payment, one of the creditors sued me. I was shocked since they had said this was something that only happened very rarely. They had convinced me initially to take the "Veritas Legal Plan" for just such a "rare" lawsuit; they said it would act as a safety net and would provide legal service and defense in case of a lawsuit. Get the word out that this company lies and does not do what they claim they will do for your debt settlement. I had 99K in loans and debt that I put into this program 3/12 years ago. They told me it will be a 4 year program paying $1276 per month. I have paid for 42 months already at $53,592 then I was told I’m September that if I paid $13,000 I would be completely done and paid off which I did. Now I have paid $66,592.
