This is a nice zoo. They got rid of the shows though. I don't know why. Plenty of animals and a splash pad.
While I do not support or agree with the zoo ethics, we had fun here. We spent about three hours and we saw a lot of animals. We even got the chance to see koalas upclose! It was definitely an experience for sure! I did however see many animals, like the tiger and the fox among many that were pacing back and forth....I feel like some of the animal habitats should be broadened and have more space. Admission is $25 which is usually the price but for that price, do consider adding variety to the habitat.
Great place to visit. Wide variety of exotic animals. Not so big that you feel rushed trying to experience everything. Concession stand crew was kinda slow to acknowledge me and take my order; but the cheeseburger was huge and served with a lot of french fries. The ample food portions, fresh preparation and great taste made the typically-inflated concession stand prices palatable. Other crew persons throughout the conservatory, especially at the panther and crocodile stations, were very patron-aware and provided lots of info... read more
amazing time every time we go! They keep this place so clean and the beers are so cold! The scenery is nice too! what a great small zoo!
We enjoyed our late morning visit to the Palm Beach Zoo. It's small, but they have plenty of animals and even though it was a hot day, nearly all of the animals were out and active. We attended a great "Tiger Talk" with one of the wildlife experts and also got some time in chatting with the docent near the panther enclosure. The grounds have really nice landscaping so you're never walking around under direct sun and there are plenty of spots to sit down and enjoy the quiet and beauty. It's definitely worth a stop if yo... read more
This is such a cute little zoo. It is quite family friendly and is on the small side.you can most likely see everything in an hour or two. My faves are the cute little foxes but there lots of birds that I like as well. Check out the fruit doves. They are adorable. Also the vivid and lovely flamingos are also fun. The zoo is beautifully put together and lovely to walk through with palm trees everywhere and lots of greenery. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely go back.
I love this zoo! It's perfect for an easy day. Everything is close together and close to you! The enclosures are nice and close up not hundreds of yards away like most zoos. Plus the walk is mostly shaded so you can go anytime of the day and not die of heat. They really strive for conservation and care about their animals. Plus they have super fun events like food truck safari and brew at the zoo! The zoo at dusk is my favorite! All the animals are more active and everything looks so pretty with the lights!
Absolutely wonderful experience. We went on a Monday afternoon and my son loved it. It wasn't ridiculously crowded. Very fairly priced. Good size, didn't take hours to get through it all. And the fountain was a great way to end it all and cool off. My sons favorite exhibit was the otters. They were very interactive and playful. I highly recommend for any parents looking for an afternoon activity for toddlers.
This zoo is a gem. Beautifully landscaped a large exhibitions. The signage is informative. I especially liked that the keeper talks happened throughout the day. Just the right length of time for kids. The educated keepers would then make themselves available to answer additional questions. Don't miss the flamingo walk.
