i was very disappointed it took 6 months from the time I initially talked with the sales person till I was finally able to turn my system on this morning . The application process when back and forth with the sales rep having to come numerous times to verify information .Then after that it took so long for the the installing to be started .
One of panels lwaks water into my bedroom.And they refuse to come out promptly and reait Their sales man made promises about production from the solar system that havent panned out.I was told i would need to pay a montly lease for the system$195 and a customer charge of $15 approx.montly to Duke Power. Every month i pay way more than that.

Do not do it!!!! So many regrets!!! You end up paying them, plus your electric company!!!

Empower Energy very misleading! Ryan Aiello will tell you anything to make the sale!! Have had solar for almost 6 months. Has only worked 3 weeks! Palmetto/lightreach won’t reimburse me! My roof covered in snow .. empower says my solar will work once snow melts. So…. From Dec - April.. no solar. But I have to keep paying Palmetto $225/mo. Do not do it!!!!! Took them 1 month to tell me tech won’t fix my system. To wait for snow to melt. When system was installed in Aug. the inverter/optimizer was working. That was not resolve... read more

Outside factors meant that the investment wouldn't pan out at this time.
We have been waiting since end of December till Now for Job to be completed and STILL WAITING WISH WE NEVER HAD TRIED TO GO SOLAR. ITS BEEN COMPLETE NIGHTMARE Unprofessional and Untrustworthy, Save yourself the headache and stress RUN FROM THIS COMPANY.

The customer service representative did an excellent job of canceling my contract. I was rushed into a contract and immediately regretted it.

They are of no help. It's taken 4 months to figure out how to take care of a solar issue! They don't own my system, someone else does! They lied about everything and I'm taking legal action.
