Palmetto Solar is a fantastic company to work with. From start to finish, everyone was professional, personable, and very accommodating. They answered all my questions, handled all the details and numerous tasks with the various organizations (including the HOA) involved with the project, worked with my schedule, and best of all kept me up to date on everything throughout the process. I couldn't be happier!
Overall, I am pleased. The installation was smooth and the transition was unnoticeable. The system has been running for one year with no issues. The savings have been good from May '23 through August '23 but the daylight hours impacted energy production in the fall and winter months. I would like to know more about the cost of having a battery backup and the cost of a motor generator.

Palmetto solar is a rare company that seems to be good to be true and then actually delivers. I was so impressed with the professionalism and the personal touch that they conveyed. Great product, great people.

Palmetto sales representative was right to point out that as inflation drives the cost of energy from the utility company continually higher, the savings from the self generated solar power increasingly becomes more significant. Production does get hampered by prolonged cloud cover during rainy days and by the higher ambient temperatures of the summer months. Hotter cells produce less electricity.
