Communication between the different PennyMac organizational levels and our tasks at times were terrible. Two managers assured me that all necessary financial data had been received only to have another state that was not the case and that my loan amount was to be reduced by 40%.

Everything was great up until closing. Closing communications broke down between PennyMac & closing company, which resulted in closing being delayed for 3 days! My realtor had to call PennyMac to ask what was going on. Was stressful because we were staying in a hotel with my 90 year old mother & dog!
The atty who came to our home was great. The administrative paper work was not correct ( not atty fault). Agreements of rates and prices were not carried through to final docs
Having an underwriter be more specific in their requests and not so vague because they were unable to glean information using context and passed examples.
The whole refinance process was quick and efficient
