My refi was quick and easy. This is my second loan with Penny Mac and both were seamless.

From start to finish everything was communicated clearly. The process was extremely quick. I started the discussion received a good rate for my refinance in order to get cash out and it was all done fast. Started on a Saturday and closed 10 days later on a Wednesday
The loan was made for more than the payoff amount was, and some funds were disbursed to us. This was not part of the agreement. We had said we wanted to pay cash for the closing costs, in an effort to keep the amount of loan the same as the one we were paying off. The person who came to our home was not a rep from PennyMac, but a notary, so we couldn't change things unless we would cancel the appt. And we just wanted to close and be done with it.
Deed issue was communicated multiple times, yet closing doc's still had signature line for my Deceased father. Not cool.
