I communicated by far with other Mac Team members more so than with Mr. Mayer. So, the information was not always consistent or as clearly communicated, but overall the end result was achieved. I did not close within 60 days of my lock in interest rate, which had to be extended. I guess with the number of holidays this had some mi or impact. The loan officer, Jermaine Stevenson, was outstanding! Also, I will likely refer my daughter when she is ready to purchase her first home.
It is always room for improvement
I received regular and timely communication. Jazmin was friendly and went out of her way to ensure I knew what was going on.
Everything was done electronically and online. It was an easy process to upload documents and Sharyl was available to answer any questions I had at any time. We did not close on the original scheduled date, but it had nothing to do with PennyMac. It was due to the appraiser assigned to my loan.
Sharyl and her team were great. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue I ever had was that PennyMac kept calling us and asking us to do a loan with them and we were already halfway through the process.
