This was a great experience. Everything went great!!
Communicate early and often. I ended up being deployed at the last minute, but as a precaution I had uploaded a POA and letter in the online portal and discussed this several times with Denny. Each time it was like the first, as in he never once looked to verify PennyMac in fact had the POA. It wasn’t until I got back from my deployment to find out that my loan had been canceled because they couldn’t get ahold of me, and didn’t know they had the POA for my wife to sign for me the whole time.
You need to get your paperwork straight, as I have been sent e-mail asking for documents that had already been received or were not needed, which is confusing to say the least. Also, after closing we find that we needed to e-sign another document that was missed or not presented at closing. I am happy to save money be refinancing, but I did not like trying to deal with several different people sending me conflicting e-mails.
Thought all went well. Although it took longer than I thought. Rachell was good at getting back with me. However, it did take some time. She could always answer my questions.
The process was extremely easy. Everyone was accessible for questions and very in tune with our needs and concerns. The personnel were very pleasant and would absolutely use pennymac for our future financial needs.
The whole process went so smoothly and quickly, it was great.
Bad experience, bas customer service. There were many frustrations about my refinance process and expressed to different reps, it was like talking to a wall. I tried to speak to supervisors by email or phone and never received a call back or an email. This was bad experience dealing with people handling my refinancing process. The only good thing I have to say about my experience was the interest rate, got a 2.6% Took 4 Months to close refinancing.
