Nick Myers kept me informed every step of the way. He promptly resolved a few issues that arose. I was never in the dark. If I had any questions Nick was always there to assist. Much better than any other mortgage involvement I've had in the past.
The entire refi process was arduous but Janette made it clear and understandable. Even when the closing documents arrived with my name misspelled, Janette promptly had things rectified. The misspelling was not her fault but she took ownership of it and made sure we didn't have to worry. The biggest problem we had was that, because of the misspelling of my name on the initial closing documents, our actual closing was delayed by a week.

There were to many emails from multiple team members which lead to confusion on our part on who was handling the loan. Calling from home on our end was a nightmare. It was impossible to contact someone directly no matter what number we called. All calls lead back to Rebecca's voice mail and we were then contacted back by Rebecca at her convenience.

From start to finish the streamline refinance of my FHA was easy. I provided the necessary documentation and they took care of everything. The team kept me updated on where the application was in the process and I closed 6 weeks from the application date.
Nobody was available during closing to answer our questions. Royal, our loan officer, was condescending and rude in emails when we asked for some clarifying information. I will not use penny Mac in the future nor would I recommend it. We felt Royal pressured us for a timeline and blamed us for a time constraint when he was unavailable and didn’t provide the requested information. We would prefer an apology for the horrific service.
