My loan paperwork was wrong prior to closing. After numerous calls and emails it was corrected, but never sent to the closer who subsequently didn't show up for the closing on Friday. I spent almost an hour with a member of your MACTeam, was put on hold a couple of times while he spoke to a supervisor and assured me I could close on Sunday morning. Norma called on Saturday to find out how the closing went. I said it didn't. No one showed up on Sunday either. It took a week and 3 attempts to clos

My closing happened a month later than was predicted - due to the lack of attention and accurate processing by PennyMac. It became frustrating and annoying. I was already a customer of PennyMac - "simply" doing a refi. I've never had a problem with the company's SOP but I felt very unimportant receiving the routine emails sent repeatedly. As a customer service professional, what would have made the experience better was accurate personal contact and efficient follow-up. Thank you for asking.
