I started the process in Late September with John Anding. John was very curious and was straight forward with everything. He had very good knowledge of the loan process. Once we moved forward my loan was transferred to a loan processor by the name of Nicholas Batten. Nicholas was nice but seemed but could not give me a straight answer on an issue within the loan process. After several e-mails and phone calls about some items with Nicholas I was then passed over to another processor.
You got the job done. Great. The changes in requests for documents, seems like there is always one more thing. I was told that because the delay in closing was not my fault, but we needed to wait on the survey, I would not be charged for a rate lock extension, and I was. I was told that I qualified for a special kind of appraisal that would only cost $175. I was later charged an additional $300.
Good communication, someone available to answer questions
The communication process and continual update was great. We had to work through a minor issue of the military form for VA purposes but it did get taken care of. There were some issues with closing documents but PennyMac did a great job of addressing those issues and getting it to closing.

Impressed with the care and speed of processing our request for ReFi. Everyone was considerate of us and patient with us getting our info to them. Very helpful staff and returned our calls quickly. We liked the emails explaining the process.
