for the VA loan and being a previous customer there was not drawn out process of credit pulling and filling out a great deal of paper work from scratch, the agent that assisted explained everything up front and guided me through ever thing
The process of linking up with the Notary was clunky because when she called me she didn't have the correct information so I thought it was a phone scam.
Easiest refinance I've ever experienced. No glitches, no mistakes. Only saw the closing agent for an hour and a half of signing and it was over!

this ,was the third loan i have had with penny mac. Paul did a great job in getting the loan processed.
To much paperwork compared to other lenders
This was the worse refinance I have ever had. Communication between teams was terrible, I had to call frequently to get status or a call back, I had so follow up with the title company myself and after a week of trying to get an accurate closure document (mistake on PM part) I had to escalate the issue to get it resolved so I could close. Absolutely ridiculous process.
Everything was easy to follow and the loan officer was upfront about the whole process. Made it very easy to refinance on my house.
