This is my 2nd refi with PennnyMac, and I was asked for documents that I didn’t have on this loan that wasn’t asked on the first loan. The first loan timeframe was short compared with this loan.

the process is simple and easy. only area of improvement would be sharing the documents and folders. sometime i get confusion on what the doucment is related to and why should we needed. Otherwise it is aswesome

The beginning of the process was great, working with Ms. Quintrell to find the best terms for the refinancing and submit the initial documents. Working with the closing team was very frustrating. The biggest problem was not having one person to call and correct errors. Instead, we were connected to random customer service operators. Each time I had to explain from the beginning what error needed to be corrected and why. Some agents were better than others, but overall it was chaotic and unsatisfactory customer service. Considering our credit scores, and the fact we have had a loan with PM for years, I felt the level of documents required to “prove” our credit worthiness was too much. The underwriter kept adding to our burden of proof. Jon was great, very patient with our questions.
