The initial loan officer stated an estimate was to be used rather than an appraiser coming out, then one week before the appraiser arrived we get a call there is going to be a home appraisal. We had to work day and night for the entire week to get ready. Up to the scheduled closing date the old closing terms were the only documents available. After the appraisal, our home was valued higher than the estimated appraisal. No altered terms were presented until I started calling to prompt the staff to adjust the closing figures. ... read more
