The technology Madrid everything easy to do. I did have a little problem with posting docs. But the Penny Mac team: Austin and Phillip would step in to help and make sure it was done. Also, my husband's SSN had to be corrrected on a form and that took two or three days to fix in their end. Other than that the experience was great and am happy we went with Penny as we got a great rate of 2.89 on a 15 yr loan mortgage. That was better than Loan Depot where they offered 4.25% Were Very happy.

Nick, the loan officer, called me "buddy" a lot. It was strange. Otherwise, great experience. Would recommend.

The PennyMac team members I worked with communicated clearly what documentation was needed and they provided confirmation when the documentation was received. It was easy to upload the documents on the website. I would also receive updates letting me know how the loan was progressing. There was a delay with the final approval as the county assessor was late sending the tax information needed to make the final loan calculations which pushed our closing date from December 2019 to January 2020.

First and foremost the process was extremely smooth. The constant contact via phone calls and emails were very helpful and specific enough to streamline the process.
