Process was very easy and loan closed in expected timeline.

I had a couple problems during the process, one was I emailed and asked if I should make my payment for the current month and never received a response and the second problem was the amount I requested from MY equity was short of the amount I requested with no explanation why.
Very clean and quick to close.
1. Applied for loan in Oct. - Closed in January. Selected PennyMac since our loan was with PennyMac. Expected faster closing. 2. Early in Dec. rec'd letter from PennyMac offering special loan rate of 3.68%. Sent e-mail to Austin and Jesse inquiring if offer applied to our loan in process? Rec'd e-mail 12/12 promising reply within 48 hrs. Never rec'd reply. Contacted Jesse about same. Said he had not rec'd e-mail but promised to look into. Rec'd no reply.

The technology Madrid everything easy to do. I did have a little problem with posting docs. But the Penny Mac team: Austin and Phillip would step in to help and make sure it was done. Also, my husband's SSN had to be corrrected on a form and that took two or three days to fix in their end. Other than that the experience was great and am happy we went with Penny as we got a great rate of 2.89 on a 15 yr loan mortgage. That was better than Loan Depot where they offered 4.25% Were Very happy.
