very poor dealership We were wanting to buy a new car for my wife this past weekend so we thought we would go to Peoria Ford.I have bought alot of cars in my life and this experience was by far the worst one i have ever seen. Old fashion game playing- Horrible experience The salesmen here are so stereotypical ! I was so freaked out by the way they completely ignored my question - not once- but as many as 5 times! How stupid can this man be I wondered? I wanted to buy the car, but he was treating me so awful- down right disrespectful. As a woman I have bought 9 cars over the last 35 years. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..... I went looking for a new car and ended up at Peoria. I am a single woman. First off I was welcomed, told the salesman what I wanted and he asked if I was waiting on my husband. Then after clearly telling him NO. He proceeded to show me cars that I didn't want. The managers the salesman tried to force me into a car I did not want. I finally got to see the car I wanted, got to drive it and was told how expensive it was. Very uncomfortable! Went to see a Toyota Venza and sales manager was too aggressive and rude. Decided to shop elsewhere for the same vehicle. Purchased it and it was night and day when comparing the two dealerships. The other place was friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable! We got a great deal on our car and overall I would say there are better places to shop for a vehicle than Peoria Ford.
Training class for Techs Were do I start-Ranger wouldnt start-ended up being computer and the transceiver...both bad causing the same problem...like both headlights going at once. They said the old parts werent return because they had a core value...none was listed on the invoice...maybe they will be use later. Thought the price of $1300 was high and then to top it off I had to pay 43.50 for shop supplies...What a ripoff....never a Ford again....
Typical old school car sales games First of all, if you ever call this dealership, dial *67 before you dial their number. If you do not block them, you will get numerous calles all times of the day and night. It's dealerships like this that earned the used car salesmen they justified reputation. A typical Van Tuyle operation.
Terrible Experience at Peoria Ford We went into Peoria Ford to inquire about a price on an Escape advertized several times on a local television channel. I asked the first salesman who approached if they had the advertised vehicle at the advertized price. He couldn't answer and wanted to walk the lot to look. 106 at the time and i said no, too hot to walk. We went inside and a while later another sales rep approached with the first man. never again Went to "look" at acar we saw online. told the salesguy on the phone and in person that we wouldnt have any money for a few days and that we just wanted to see the car. Nice car, told em we would buy it in a few days if it was still there. They wanted us to complete the paperwork since we were there. 4 hours later after visiting with a most unpleasant finance lady, we left. Got four calls a day for the next three days wondering where we were and when we were coming for the car and where was their money. 2 of them... read more
Avoid this dealership Spent 45 minuets with a salesman and his manager just to be told that a SSR I had seen was taken to auction 4 days earlier. All they wanted was to get my name, phone number and address. Then when another SSR was available, no phone call!
