Treated well. Couldn't agree on price.
I was not happy with my experience at Peoria Ford. At first, everything seemed very good; the salesperson was very nice, helpful. Once I got to the dealership, things changed. It was almost like they did not want me to purchase the car. Actually, told me that someone else was trying to buy the car from under me. The price listed was not the price that they told me when I got there. It was over $4000 more, and they piled on a lot of things they said they added to the car. Dealer keeps advertising 2 trucks on special but refuse to sell them. False advertising. Bait and switch tactics.
They sold the car prior to me getting there for the appointment which is fine. But then kept calling me afterwards on a car that was already sold. Very annoying
After contacting dealership and speaking with two salesmen late in the afternoon the car apparently sold and no one had the decency to call me and let me know. When trying reach the salesmen again calls and e-mails went unanswered.
I traveled 180 miles round trip to see this and another truck. Neither were there when I got there. But they didn’t immediately tell me that. Instead, they took info on my trade-in and then proceeded to try to sell me something I did not want.
Based on photos, I asked if there was damage to the front right fender (CarFax said no accidents, no damage)...was told "no," that what I was seeing was an artifact of the photo shoot...set an appt and was contacted by the salesperson several times including just minutes before I arrived...the car was out front...not only was there a fresh repair (which the salesperson acknowledged), the bumper color did not match and the trunk lid was cocked so that there was an obvious gap to the rear fender when closed...the car certainly... read more
The car didn’t have ac and they tried saying it was just because the freon was low took off 500 out of 21000. I walked away now they selling it for 17500. Probably never fixed the actual problem
I was very unhappy with this dealer because after my brief inquiry, they turned my number loose for every salesman to call and it bordered on harassment. Stay away from them and buy a car somewhere else unless you literally want 15 calls a day. They would not leave me alone...
