I gave them another try after 2 years and they are even worse than before. I see why they have a 3-star rating. First I had a reservation for our puppy and the reservation agent assured me that he was good since he had his rabies shot and Bordatella. The worst part of this place is that I gave them our vet records and the red-headed guy at the desk accused us of possibly printing our receipt from an internet template and he had to call a Manager???? We have used this location since it's opening and our dogs were always happy and we had no issues. We noticed over the last year the service has been poor and our dogs are terrified to go here. Sadly I recommended this location to several friends only to find they had terrible experiences as well. I won't go on with all of the specific problems but I would avoid this location at all costs.

We scheduled a day camp visit for our dog on a Saturday 10:30-4) and in the total amount of time that our dog was there, he was "allowed to play" for a total of 30 minutes and sat in a kennel for 5+ hours. The staff hurried us along as we tried to ask questions and rushed us out of the lobby, telling us how busy they were. When we asked how much play time he received, no one could give us an answer. This grooming facility is horrible! Do not trust them or take your pets there for grooming. They will cancel on you with no regard to how it affects your pet , or how hard it is to make a grooming appointment. I have 3 golden doodles and I get them groomed regularly (every 10-14 days). This place has now cancelled on me last minute for the second time in a row. Don't trust them or use them for any services!!!!

Maybe a very nice facility but very bad customer service. Made reservations in advance was put on wait list then nothing called to check on it could not tell me where on wait list. Noted was told it is NOT first come first served. So why wait list if you may never get in. Also they don't even let you know until you show up to drop off so make sure you call every day once wait listed. Very disappointed with service especially for the rates.

My dog has been going here for boarding since I moved to CLT almost two years ago with no issues. I brought him for the weekend about two months ago, when I picked him up (after 2 nights) he was shaking and had really bad diarrhea all night at home. I thought this was a fluke since he seemed fine at pick-up, he's a Covid dog so he does have separation anxiety... I thought I would give it another try so I brought him there again last night. Just moved to the area and the Ballantyne location was very convenient. The good: convenient location, beautiful building with very helpful and friendly front staff. Pickup and drop off was seamless. The bad: our dog is 10 years old and has never been sick for more than a day. She came home and had loose stool for more than a week. We called to report and sent them the vet papers. We recently boarded our 2 dogs over the weekend and one of our dogs is on seizure medicine. The staff did not read the directions on the medicine bottle or on the note I had included with the cheese he takes the pill with, they gave him only 1/3 of his correct dosage. I discovered this because I had supplied them with the exact number of pills and cheese slices he would need during his stay. DO NOT leave your dog at this facility. My dog came home from boarding for 3 days and has injuries on every single paw. Burns and lacerations. I was told by a manager that she was 'limping, but it seemed to go away'. No one checked her out prior to sending her home. This doesn't even scratch the surface of the issues we had for this visit. They did not feed my dogs the food I provided, only gave them a fraction of what they typically eat (not due to being sick or anything), did not listen to instructions to keep my other do... read more
