First time trying out Pet Paradise, This is our first time leaving Ace at a resort while we went on vacation. I must say my experience has not been good at all. I have had to call multiple times regarding what we told would take place and it has NOT. Example: Play time twice a day and his first day there they only took him out once. We have been using Pet Paradise for daycare and boarding for the last few months. Things started out great, but have gone quickly downhill. The last straw was today when I periodically checked the cameras and noticed that my dog was put in a kennel for almost the entire day instead of getting to play with the other dogs during daycare. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. My girlfriend picked up her dog from a boarding stay and called me in the car crying. Staff looked like chickens with no heads running around. She said she tried to talk to the manager about some concerns with her dog and he ignored her like he was not concerned with what she was saying. Been taken my dog here for a couple years now. This facility started out great. Clean, attentive, good staff...but all has changed. I realize that everyone is understaffed but these are our babies! This is a daycare center for fur babies. I love that they have cameras, but I'm finally pissed that during boarding and supposed day camp, my dog is not being let out of her kennel. This unfortunately is the last time I'm letting my pup go to pet paradise. They are VERY unresponsive almost impossible to get ahold of. During his last stay I saw him getting humped by 3 dogs at once and called support and they said they'd call me back and never did or gave me a solution to keep my pup happy. Then today I took him there for grooming and 6 hours later we haven't heard anything so I stop by and the worker says "oh he's been done for hours,sorry we didn't call" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The place is impressive I must say but my experience was horrible. I scheduled my dog first visit there meet and greet play time. Was excited that my 8 year old border collie mix with very high energy will have some play time but I was very much wrong. We arrived vaccine records were verified they took my dog and that was it. I have been coming to this establishment for almost two months for veterinary care. My vet made me a grooming appointment weeks in advance, because she figured after Camilo's vaccinations he would be ready for a cut. When I arrived at my appointment this morning, the front desk associate told me she couldn't take him because I don't have the vet records, which I explained to her he is a patient of their in house veterinary clinic. 0 STARS - RUN!! DO NOT BOARD YOUR PET HERE!!! READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS as they are all true! Had two horrible experiences in a row when boarding my dog at this location - both times left me in tears while out of the country on vacation. THEY DO NOT GET THE ALL DAY PLAY you pay for!! In the last 2 months the check in process is taking 15-20 minutes. People are frustrated because they need to get to work. Used to be the staff would know your dogs name -now it seems a new person is at the desk every time you come in.
