I wish every doctor could have his bedside manner! He is kind and genuinely cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone.

Let me start by saying Dr. Ahlering is skilled at what he does, however his staff is the worst. During the two years or so that I was going to MCRM I found the staff to be horrible specifically Shawnie, Susie, and Nancy. The fact that my husband and I needed to go to MCRM due to fertility issues should have been enough reason the staff should be more caring and compassionate. At times I felt like I was just a number and they were to busy to answer my questions whether it be via email or phone. There was a lot of miscommunica... read more

I just had a failed Ivf cycle with Dr. Ahlering. He also overstimmed me, They retrieved 34 eggs only 2 made it to freeze and after retrieval i was so bloated , you would think i was 5 months pregnant, I also couldnt eat for about a week because i felt too full. I too went to his office and he told me everything was fine, prescribed me a shot that didnt help. My stomach went down on its own a couple days later. Rachel was my ivf coordinator and after she told me my beta number is hung up on her. I never hear from them again. ... read more

Suppose to be a good clinic but I didn't recurve this kind of care. I had two failed rounds of IVF dealing with male factor infertility. He told me my husband is just going through "male menopause" & nothing to help. We insisted on trying a medicine regimen we learned through others who had success with such. He said it probably wouldn't work and had I not learned from others, he wouldn't even have mentioned the regimen. When my husbands numbers shot from 800k to 90 million, he was shocked. We did 2 IVF cycles, poor email co... read more

Absolutely awful experience. I never received a return phone call after my second failed IVF cycle. A receptionist scheduled an appointment time for Dr. Ahlering to call after my first IVF cycle and he never called. Multiple phone calls and emails were required to finally have the Dr. call us back. After the second IVF cycle, well...Im still waiting and have made several calls to his office and still no response at two different times I told I would be called. Mistakes were made throughout the entire process. I should have k... read more

I went to Dr. Ahlering for infertility issues. I was extremely disappointed in him and his staff. There was a lot of miscommunication amongst the staff. My emails and phone calls were often never returned. They did not make me feel comfortable and I believe that's important when you are struggling with such a hard diagnosis. I have since seen someone else and I'm so glad I made the switch.

I should have known after Dr. Ahlering was 2.5 hrs late for my initial consult and spent a whopping 30 mins with me me giving a basic biology lesson, this was not going to go well. While he was at SIRM, I found him and the staff disorganized, and the main form of information was to refer to the website or attend seminars to gain knowledge and raffle free IVFs. When a patient goes to a facility for help for what is already a stressful and emotional problem(infertility) is is too much to ask to actually have my questions answer... read more
