I had 150 gallons of heating oil delivered on March 9, 2021. I noticed this giant dead grass spot in my yard a couple weeks later where it looks like they dropped the hose and reeled it in. I contacted them about the spot and they told me to send in pictures which I did immediately and never heard back. The experience I had trying to get heat for my 90 yr. old father was awful! The tech never showed up! The tech was told that the issue was resolved. No one from Petro ever came to the home. Very, very disappointed as I've used them many times in the past. Won't be using them anymore.
I cancel the service last year because i switch to gas. They pure oil to my house making damage over 15.000$ to my basement. They told me that they arent responsible for that.
After 22 years of service to my second home, a technician switched me from "auto" to annual, with result pipes froze. Rather than identifying the source of the bad decision, a Field Service Supervisor determined it was cheaper to terminate account than work toward future service. I feel I've been victimized by bad corporate behavior, and am seeking review of my unfair treatment.
I returned to my second home in Maryland, June 9th, to find out there was no water. Further investigation revealed that the pipes had frozen for lack of fuel. In calling Petro, I was told that my account had been switched from auto delivery to annual. Considering that the prior 20 years I had between three and four deliveries a year, I would never have made such an irrational decision. HORRIBLE. I was asked to send in a credit report by two different reps only to be told that it wasn't sufficient. Terrible customer service
