We have had our “old man” dog there twice. We travel a lot but new to the area and discovered this place last week. We dropped off our 15 year golden retriever last Wednesday for a 4 day stay. He seemed ok with it and we were happy with how cool in temperature the place was and clean. We had another trip planned for last Friday. So without a doubt we took him back for a 2 day stay. When we picked him up again he seemed fine at first but he did cough a little in the lobby. I did not think much of it. He sometimes will ... read more

Business response:

James, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to speak with me and for allowing us to address your concerns. We are truly sorry for your loss - Brownie will never be forgotten and we are lucky to have gotten to care for him. As you mentioned, we did send out communication to pet parents when we became aware of the outbreak, however, it unfortunately did not send to all of our customers. This is something that we will learn from and we will continue to work on providing the best communication to our pet parents. If there is... read more

Choker collars on my mother's dogs without owner permission - the female has throat issues - as well as stupidity of owners not being allowed to see their pet inside or bring personal artifacts to make the dogs more comfortable. It has zero to do with safety. I have advised my mother (dog owner) to never bring her two dogs again until the stupidity has ended. Pets are not virus ridden, you ******* freaks!

Business response:

Hi Robert, without pet names I am not locating an exact match and coming across multiple customer records. I would like to speak with you around this. We use a slip leads, an industry standard. Our teams are trained to use these. We do not use or sell choke collars. If made aware we will make the slip lead a splint so that it can go around the pups chest to avoid throat irritation for the sensitive pups. In regards to the rest, please know we also share your frustration but are simply following the executive order for ... read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR FUR BABIES HERE! My friend just went to pick up her dog & saw a MANAGER hit someone’s dog! Like a literal punch. She then proceeded to ask a worker where the cameras were & they told here there were none!!UNACCEPTABLE!

Business response:

Jacob, thank you for sharing in our love and fight for animal welfare. The dog belongs to one of our managers and was rough housing with the groomer. The owner, who was in the room, does not feel anything was abusive toward her pet. I will be reaching out to your friend tomorrow to gather more information so that we may address appropriately. We pride ourselves on ensuring all pets are happy, healthy and safe. - Brandon

I don’t want to believe it but unfortunately it’s true. I went and picked up my dog from daycare today and witnessed one of the groomers hit a dog, then grab it by it’s face, and I could tell through the glass (although I couldn’t hear what she was saying) that she was speaking meanly to it. The dog looked in distress. I asked one of the front desk girls if there were cameras in there and she told me no, which is even worse. I told her what happened, only to find out it was a manager. She has black and purple hair. In my ang... read more

Business response:

Please understand we have taken this very seriously. After initial investigation, the dog, Marcy (brown boxer) is the baby of our Resort Manager. Marcy is a jumper and vocal player. The groomer (purple hair) was rough housing with her but the owner, who was also in the room, did not witness any thing that she felt was abuse to her pet. We will be reaching out to you tomorrow to gather additional facts so we can address appropriately and appreciate that you made us aware. Brandon - Associate Manager of Regional Operation... read more

I boarded my dog for 5 days and because someone didn't immunize their dog and the crate wasn't wiped down before my dog used it, he now has kennel cough. I'm very upset. if I had to immunize my dog, they should have also.

Andrea, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to speak with us and for allowing us to address your concerns. We understand your frustration and will use this feedback to work hard to improve the service we provide our clients and their pets. I will be reaching out to you to discuss with you in detail. Most importantly I am so sorry your sweet Harley is ill. I will be in touch, Frances Ankeny General Manager

I had a horrible experience boarding my two small dogs over the weekend. I was excited to try them because two different friends of mine use them and have recommended them to me. First, I somehow was booked at a Petsuites in Indiana. It took some time for it to get worked out, two days before I was to be away. They finally got me booked into the right location. Then, the day after I dropped them off, I received a phone call asking me which dog receives which medication. Only one of my dogs receives the three different meds I... read more

Let me start off by saying that this is the first time my family and I have ever used a boarding service, so we are new to this. Like most folks probably do with day cares for their children we researched various boarding facilities and toured PetSuites and met the staff and saw where our dog would potentially stay. The place smelled and looked clean to me with plenty of space for dog to run around and you could bring their own toys, bedding and food if you liked or they would provide it. If you have never used a boarding fa... read more
