This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Had an enjoyable late lunch. I started with margarita that was a large tumbler of sweet & sour mix, not a hint of tequila. Our server cheerfully replaced it with a cold delicious local IPA. My.birger was excellent with an ample serving of shoestring fries. My dining companion had the PCG pasta which he devoured. We will be back.

My wife and I went to the Phoenix City Grille for brunch over the Memorial Day weekend and were happily surprised by it. The service was great the whole visit, the food quality was superb, the wait (to be seated and served) were minimal and the cost was very reasonable. We'll be going back as frequently as we can!

We came with 2 other regulars. We ordered from the restaurant week menu. Nice choices. Our appetizers and main courses were very good. My pork was a tad over done. Bit disappointed in both desserts . Yet that was ok for 3 courses. We did order drinks at the bar before during happy hr. and I thought my wine price didn't seem in line with happy hr. prices, yet it was good and maybe just what my friend ordered. I will come back and look forward to trying other things. Samantha was a nice waitress!
Fun time for restaurant week. Great food and it’s in my neighborhood- I’ll be going back again.
