Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Delicious meal. Both of us had salmon with fingerlings and carrots. We also ordered the roasted fall vegetables. Caramelized to perfection with a drizzle of balsamic. Always an array of choices, each accompanied by wonderful vegetables. The veggies are NOT an afterthought. They are fabulous.

Great service, never had an empty drink. Server was able to immediately answer any menu questions we had, as well as constantly came back to check on us throughout the meal and felt like she throughly enjoyed serving the patrons of the restaurant.
crispy short ribs & vegetable plate were excellent
Fantastic choice of small salad with side of steak. Stir fry had excellent spice. Salmon was delicious. Service was exceptional. Good prices for quality of cuisine.
It was very tasty but the service was very slow. For 3 entrees and 1 dessert, it took 90 minutes.
Had not been here in years. Kind of a disappointment. I had the short rib which was good but the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time or leftover from another day and the broccoli did not taste fresh either. The entree salad was small. We had one person at our table who did really enjoy the prime rib which was the special for Father's Day. Skipped dessert nothing really looked appealing.
