This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

The Brunch menu was just right - Steak Benedict was flavorful and a great change up to the standard Eggs Benedict; my friend had the Carne Asada Breakfast Taco and really enjoyed them! And our desserts - because we HAD to have desserts - were just right - the right serving size and great flavor. This was our first visit to Phoenix City Grille and will not be our last - especially at this time of year when it is so nice to be able to sit out on the patio and enjoy the 'fall' temperatures.
Our first visit was on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. my husband and I shared the full rack of ribs and they were delicious. The cole slaw and fries were also very good. The server brought a taste of one of the draft beers and his suggestion was spot on with what I told him I would like. One friend had a burger that she loved and it did look wonderful. PCG is good any day at any time no matter what you choose on the menu or from the specials board. The wait staff is so well trained and cordial! It has been a favorite spot for years. Today I just had soup but it was the best I've had in a long time. The out-of-towners I took in all ordered hamburgers and thought they were just great. Best in the 'hood!

The hamburger was outstanding, but the fries were overcooked. The chicken breast had an awesome flavor and I would definitely order either one of these again. A great waiter who needs to be more engaging, but really affable.

We arrived early for our 6PM reservation to take advantage of the 3-6PM happy hour. We ordered a glass of wine each but at $9 per glass it didn't seem like much of a happy hour price! The appetizer however was delicious and good value at just $8. We then moved to the dining room where we received very good service from a young fellow who I think was fairly new there. Always a great experience at PCG! The meals are always good, outstanding service and great value!
Had a very nice table on the side of dining room. The Mule’s were so tasty and the baby back ribs had a perfect, tangy sauce. The short ribs were tender and sweet. Great evening at one of my favorite places.
I've been going here for years. I always look forward to my trips to Phoenix. The food is fantastic and the service is top notch.
