This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

We were there for the Valentines special. Turns out that our choice for entree was no longer available, nor was our choice for dessert. We were seated in an over flow area, which was over crowded and very noisy. We are fairly regular diners here for many years, and have always been more than happy with our experiences there. This time was a major disappointment.

Valentine’s Day they ran out of Prime rib

PCG is consistently excellent. I had the special, Chilean Sea Bass and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had. We took friends who had not been to PCG and the also loved it. After numerous visits this was 1st time to try dessert, we shared and fought for last bits because it was great.
Phoenix City Grille - just another wonderful experience - excellent food you can't find anywhere else, prepared well!

We have visited PCG several times now.. I have been for a Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner.. I can't find anything that isn't excellent. The waitstaff is among the best I have ever experienced anywhere. You will have a hard time finding a better selection of whiskey, anywhere.
