Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. On a pandemic holiday weekend, it was a great lift to see that they were still providing their wonderful favorable tasty dishes, friendly service, social distancing. My favorite is tender short beef ribs. My daughter had filet mignon cooked perfectly. Was the perfect RX for coming out id the bunker for a night. Always consistent.
Staff was great, had apps and cocktails, bartender took good care of us and had a great Derby Day. Will go back soon!
Very nice experience. Excellent service with tables nicely spaced out. Nice variety of entrees. All the staff was professional and wore masks.
Consistent tasty food andFlavorful food. Strong drinks, always a plus! Service was spot on. My only criticism of this restaurant is the decor and furniture. It's rather dated and could use a refresh but won't stop us from coming back, quite yet anyway.

I am not sure why my expectations weren't higher because this place delivered! Our service was friendly and prompt, I had a tenderloin and my husband had green pork chili and both were not just good but outstanding! Definitely we will be back!
The scallops were sandy or gritty we waited a very long time to pay our bill my dinner had a huge amount of rice and a few vegetables and the shrimp were a wee dry the other 2 dinners were very good but service I’m sorry was lack luster we have been coming to PCG since it opened my dear friend Sandy Andrews turned us on to PCG all those years ago we have used the meeting room for special occasions and had our club events here several times we are loyal clients but tonight it was just off
The food was very good, the staff very nice and the atmosphere was very subdued. All of that is not surprising since the pandemic is still in our midst. The outstanding part of the experience was the staff's attentiveness to the pandemic issues. I really appreciated that.
