Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. We arrived early for our 6PM reservation to take advantage of the 3-6PM happy hour. We ordered a glass of wine each but at $9 per glass it didn't seem like much of a happy hour price! The appetizer however was delicious and good value at just $8. We then moved to the dining room where we received very good service from a young fellow who I think was fairly new there. Had a very nice table on the side of dining room. The Mule’s were so tasty and the baby back ribs had a perfect, tangy sauce. The short ribs were tender and sweet. Great evening at one of my favorite places.
I've been going here for years. I always look forward to my trips to Phoenix. The food is fantastic and the service is top notch.

Among the best burgers I've ever had. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer is outstanding.
This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant and one of the best in Phoenix. Always a wonderful meal and every item is delicious. Pick anything you want from the menu; you'll love it. Drinks are great; service is always personable and attentive. A shout out this time to Grayson our waiter for a great dining experience.
Had a great lunch on the patio this week for my son's birthday. Food is excellent and the pricing is great. Very diverse menu and the presentation was superb. Thinking of planning a private party for the holidays or any special occasion, they have 2 banquet rooms which can hold small or larger groups. A definite gem of restaurant.
