Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. We came in late and the waitress and chef were still willing to accommodate my special diet happily. The food and service is always consistently great and I love the quiet, neighborhood feel of the space. One of my all time favorites for any occasion. Oh, the wine is great too!
PCG is always terrific. I live in the area and have been going there for years. I have never had a bad meal there. Will keep going back again and again.
I had a lunch reservation for a week and They did not have a table for me anywhere except by the front door

Great food with outstanding service. Requested a booth away from door and that request was honored wonderfully. Server made the evening! He went with the flow of our time there, made some great suggestions, and truly made our visit delightful.
