Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Even though we've moved to Chicago, we go to Phoenix City Grille whenever we're back in town. We've been dining there since 2001, and it just keeps getting better and better. Thanks to Sheldon and Nina Knapp, it's just wonderful!
Met friends at this restaurant and found a gem on 16th street. Great wines suggested by Frank! Service was excellent no need to signal for a server. Food very good.
We went here for the first time last Friday and will be back soon. It is a great neighborhood restaurant. We had the Idaho trout and it was very good. The special, a southwestern duck confit knocked our socks off and I hope they add it to the regular menu. It was as good as we have had anywhere. Our waitress was new to the business and we had a good time joking with her.
My parents celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary at Phoenix City Grill and are still raving about the food and the service! Phoenix City Grill consistently has wonderful food and is one of our family favorites!
We frequently eat dinner at Phoenix City Grille, and love the happy hour as well. Never had had a disappointment at this fine restaurant. The staff is well trained, attentive and makes us feel like we are the only ones present.
Great brunch, stayed a long time without feeling rushed. Good visit with old friends.
First time for all 4 in our party. Started out with corn cake/black bean appetizer. Very tasty. Drinks were well crafted. Ordered 4 different entrees, and each of us enjoyed ours, while tasting the other's and saying we'd get that the next time we visited.
This was our first time visiting. The food was very good and the service was just right! The beer was a local brew and was excellent!
PCG is one of our favorite dining establishments. We took some friends who had never been and now they are fans as well. Dinner was delicious; all four of us raved about our meals. We had to wait for our initial contact with our waitress who, when she came to the table, apologized profusely and offered us a free appetizer, which we said was not necessary.
