This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. 1st time there. Above my fairly high expectations. Have absolutely no qualms about either going there again or recommending it to anyone with zero reservations. The shrimp appetizers were exceptional. Gary

Went with great expectation and was disappointed by the food. The place is nice but the execution was lacking. The daily special of Black Cod was very low quality of fish and smelled. They took care of it but I was not impressed enough to come back for dinner.
The food is always excellent - creative for our taste buds. Service, too. Recommend for whatever and whenever.
I was hosting a dinner for several business associates that were all attending the same conference I was in Phoenix. I wasn't very familiar with the area so I relied on the recommendations of a few friends. The restaurant met everyone's expectations foodwise, the service was excellent (table was ready to go when we arrived), and the noise level was enough to create some energy but not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation at our table. After a disappointing experience the last time we dined there, i am happy to say that everything was very good. We dined with 2 other couples and everyone enjoyed the meal. I am glad that this was the case as we have been there many times in the past and we hoped that the bad experience last time was just an off night. Happy to say that it was.
