This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Great food as always
PCG is a great neighborhood grill. A wee bit pricey, but worth it. The staff make you feel like you were meant to be there and everyone is an old friend. Most wait staff have been there 5-7 years, that says something. I have been coming here for over 7 years, it was my husband and I's 1st date. We return too infrequently, we moved from the neighborhood. It is worth the drive. Great food as always
Two of our dining party of four had never been to Phoenix City Grille. For the other two, it had been many years. I suspect we'll all be back very soon to enjoy this tried-and-true local treasure.
We always love coming to Phx City Grille. This time they were featuring a special that had beef tenderloin and grilled shrimp on skewers on a bed of spinach and heirloom tomatoes. Delicious!
Phoenix City Grille is the perfect spot to dine before heading downtown to any event,,,this time Bette Midler Concert. We had an early dinner and asked for a particular table and they had it all ready. I had my usual 16th Street Short Ribs which is tender to the touch, great flavor and filling.. At 5:30 on Sunday they were out of bread pudding. Which was one of the reason I choose to take out-of-town guest to the Phoenix City Grill.
A great neighborhood restaurant that has an good menu. The PCG pasta is a great choice.
