Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

For me, it's all about the red trout. Several generous slabs, cooked just right. This was bracketed by the bacon-wrapped shrimp to start and the bread pudding to fill in the gaps. Ain't nuthin' wrong with that combo.
Food and service were very good. The wait for a table was too long.

This was a great place for Easter Brunch! The food was excellent and inexpensive. On the whole it is a great place to eat and I will visit there whenever I am in the Phoenix area. Great experience.
Great local spot. Although we made reservation for 7pm, we weren't seated until after 730pm. However, before we were seated the hostess approached us and offered us two free apps for the inconvenience. The manager brought them out and again apologized!! That is the mark of real customer service. Admit the issue happened....and fix it, perfect job and great dinner. I'd wait and extra hour to eat there anytime.
A great find when in Phoneix. Great food, service, and reasonable price.
As we were perusing the dinner menu, we commented on the food saying "this is good" and "that is good" until we both said "what is good here"? And that's the truth, I have yet to try anything (and of course I have my favorites) that is delicious at Phoenix City Grille.
