This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

One of our favorite restaurants in the Phoenix area. Highly recommend their outstanding food and service!
We dine at PCG at least four times each year. The food and service are consistently good, as is their impressive assortment of creative martinis. Two of us had the PCG pasta (chicken, penne pasta, sun-dried tomatoes and broccoli in a roasted garlic and chardonnay sauce). It was OUTSTANDING! For the first time ever, though, there was a small mix-up with our order; entrées came out before a salad that one person in our group ordered. No big deal. Yet, much to our surprise, that person's entire dinner was comped. This kind gest... read more
Phoenix City Grille has some of the best tasting dishes I've encountered dining out. The ambiance is good and the service great. Want a first class evening? Go to the Grille
This was a "go back to" experience for our family as we celebrated our mother's 91st birthday. Food was very good as usual, winelist and specials were very fine, and service was attentive and appropriate. This will remain on our list of places to go in Phoenix.
Loved it, as usual. The ribs were a bit dry for some reason, maybe because it was a Saturday night, but they are still fantastic ribs!! Osso buco, the night's special was also yummy. The bar is small and intimate, and we love the neighborhood-y feel. You see everything from shorts to dressy to a little "out there". Again, we love it.
As usual, our overall experience was excellent. Attentive service. Never rushed.
Our server, Natalie, was very helpful, but not intrusive. Pan seared Alaskan Halibut was excellent, cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Everyone at our table enjoyed their selections. We all vowed to return to try the other items on the menu and to try out the brunch. Very much enjoyed the bread pudding, although the chocolate torte looked great too. Very enjoyable evening.
We could not get into another neighborhood restuarant with reservations so we made reservations through "Open Table" and were very glad Phoenix City Grille was recommended to us. What a delighful surprise. The food was great and Rebecca, our server, the best! I hope the Grill also realizes what a gem they have in her.
