This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

I had a great time. I had passed by the restaurant many times and always wanted to go there and so I finally did. The ambiance is perfect for a nice date or just a place to eat and relax. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. The food was amazing.
PCG is on our regular rotation. This visit featured the red trout and the chicken tortilla soup. Both were excellent. If you're a vegetarian (or just eating light), no sweat: they do great salads, too. Portion-wise, you get good bang for your culinary buck. The service is efficient and friendly but not intrusive. We didn't have time (or room) for dessert this trip. Bummer; the bread pudding is really good.
We were seated next to a table full of noisy talkers that almost ruined our dining experience, however the food saved the evening. I spoke to the man who seated us afterwards and made my displeasure known.

Good location for those wanting southwest spicy food and generous servings. Subdued refined ambiance with a neighborly feeling.
Loved Phoenix City Grille! Great atmosphere for conversation. The food was outstanding. The Bethany chopped salad & smoked turkey sandwiches are delicious and a welcome break from the run-of-the mill fare. Fresh, local ingredients really make a difference. Kudos to the chef! It was a great place to celebrate Father's Day. I am definitely taking my friends back for lunch! Can't wait to try the owner's other restaurant as well.
