Ambiance is also excellent, but could not check that category. Went for early New Year's Eve. Great to see the regular menu with a couple of specials. Pot roast and salmon on a cedar plank continue to be stars on the menu. Jack Daniels breadpudding is yummy!
My partner and I live over 40 miles away from Phoenix City Grille. A co-worker recommend it, and we have been fans since We made reservations there for New Year's Eve and probably had the best dinig experience we have had in Phoenix. The staff is exceptional, and we particularly enjoyed our service from Becca. She has a wonderful spirit, and was eager to take care of our needs.

We had two great starters - green chile queso fundido and the corn cakes. Both were wonderful, tasty, zesty and filling. Then the house salad with chicken strips and super peanut sauce dressing. Three great dishes. The service was excellent - we waited a long time for a fourth person and no one tried to move us out. Totally enjoyable evening!
This restaurant rocks....the employees are all so skilled, great service, fantastic food, everything from the steak tacos to the ribs, everything is so good. The owner is always there which makes this restaurant so good. I highly suggest it. On top of that, it is noce to go where the "snowbirds" do not hang out. This is a neighborhood restaurant.
