Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Great drinks food was fantastic
Made reservation for Arizona Restaurant week and was told they only served it at dinner, so disappointed, but we stayed and had a burger and a turkey sandwich. The turkey tasted like it had been in a vinegar brine so I took it off and enjoyed the sandwich with fresh apples and cream cheese. Always a great night out at PCG. The food is terrific and the staff is on point. The drinks are an absolute highlight, as is the selection of unique & value priced bottles of whiskey on the way out. We love visiting, and will be back again soon.

Had an opportunity to sit at the bar, enjoyed some delicious small bites, great conversation with other patrons & tasted some fantastic bourbon & scotch. Found another couple favorites thanks to Jose (Benriach 20 & Weller 12). All of the bar & restaurant staff were amazing. Thank you
Interesting menu additions with many old favorites still available. Tonight's dinner seemed to lack the precision execution that I normally find in PCG's kitchen, so I couldn't rate the food as excellent as I have done in past reviews. That being said, even the 'good' dining experience at PCG is many times better than anywhere else in town. Go and enjoy!
