This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. This fun and fantastic restaurant really needs to be included in the regular rotation of all Phoenicians. An excellent choice for lunch or dinner.

I always find the food here to be fresh and delicious. The other 4 people at our table all raved about how good their food was too. The server was wonderful and the ambiance is nice. I could actually hear the other people at my table which was really great since lately the restaurants have been too loud to even have a good conservation.

Phoenix City Grille never disappoints. We met a friend for dinner last night. She was late so we split the eggplant bites appetizer...thin slices of eggplant fried to a crunch drizzled with a balsamic reduction, topped with goat cheese and arugula. The perfect starter. Wine pours are healthy and our server was excellent. We ordered the PCG pasta, a half serving of short ribs and the eggplant sandwich. All delicious!
2nd time and 2nd chance. Nothing special and no wow factor. Thank you but we won't be coming back.
Always good food and drinks. However, I was asked if it was a special occasion (online and in person) and, yes, it was a birthday. But, no cake no dessert, no nothing. Don't ask if you're not going to offer something to the person we are celebrating.
