Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. First time here. Ryan (waiter) was great! Delicious food. Loved being able to get a smaller portion.
Excellent service. Beef tenderloin steak was great.
Baby Back ribs are the best in Phoenix, without a doubt!!!

Wonderful valentines dinner. PCG is one of our favorites & their valentines dinner was excellent. My partner especally loves their clam chowder (which they dont have often) so he was in heaven because they had it on their valentines menu. Food and service are never disappointing.

Quiet place at lunch. Decor is nice. Food was ok for some dishes. The best item was the eggplant bites appetizer. They were flavorful and had the perfect texture. I had the halibut as my main entree which was a special for the day. I enjoyed the flavor and accompaniments. My friend had the stir fry which lacked in texture and flavor, and the broccoli was over cooked and chewy. The bread pudding dessert was more like a stale cake that was thawed the night before. We had a wonderful Valentine's dinner at our favorite restaurant, Phoenix City Grill. We sat outside on the lovely patio and the ambience was perfect for a quiet dinner. The service was excellent with the friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive Joslyn. I had a perfectly prepared prime rib and my wife had the halibut special.
