About this business

Pies ’n Thighs opened in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet in the and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken. The New York Times called the pies and the thighs a compelling combination, well executed and put forth with real heart—the sort of restaurant that’s hard to find, especially in the big city, but easy to love once found.

Pretty good for chicken! I liked that the chicken is crispy and juicy, and obviously goes well with waffles, syrup and hot sauce (Ive lived in the South for a bit, and I'd say don't knock it until you've tried it). I'd personally recommend the chicken sandwich over the other menu items since you're getting chicken for the best bang for your buck. I liked the cinnamon and honey butter but the Mac and cheese was mediocre. The catfish box is excellent as well. However, their donuts are pretty good (and affordable) here too. ... read more

The chicken biscuit sandwich was great and the service was even better!!! Brittney was my server and she was extremely attentive, the best kind of server you need. I will definitely be back!!

Came with a large group reservation for a Saturday lunch. There are more tables in the back. I got the fried chicken box with collard greens. Some bites of the chicken were good but most felt a bit dry. It was very filling. Collard greens were fine.

Great food, better than all the other chicken places nearby, but the skinny white girl working behind the counter (on 9/25 around 2 pm) was a jerk for no reason. I went to pick up my food and she asked me 6 times if my name was the one on the bag and I kept telling her yes but she just stood there with this bratty look on her face and wouldn't give me my food for like 5 minutes and just kept repeating herself. Like she was just ignoring what I was saying and making me wait. It was like she was Taunting me - super weird. I ge... read more
