About this business
Pies ’n Thighs opened in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet in the and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken. The New York Times called the pies and the thighs a compelling combination, well executed and put forth with real heart—the sort of restaurant that’s hard to find, especially in the big city, but easy to love once found.

Food is amazing! I love their mac and cheese and their mash potatoes! Chicken is always crispy and their biscuits are huge! This is perfect hangover food. I enjoy coming here for my lunch break.

Hands down one of the best fry chicken I've eaten in some time. Chicken fried a bit crispy, juicy inside and seasoned nice and you can forget that flaky biscuit with butter. Really enjoyed the food, I'll be back

Great food. Honey butter chicken biscuit is AMAZING!! Yum Yum yum. Just thinking about it makes me smile. Chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It's a cute little spot, they were nice over the phone and once we got there too. Love the name, the ambiance and of course the food. Service was pretty good too.

This is the breakfast go-to for sure. Found this place on yelp on my last morning in Williamsburg. The place is right on the corner. It's quaint but they have another room next door to seat guests. The service was solid, not too slow, or too fast. My date order the chicken and waffles and loved it. I ordered the catfish plate and loved it as well! Catfish was fried perfectly. Pretty good for chicken! I liked that the chicken is crispy and juicy, and obviously goes well with waffles, syrup and hot sauce (Ive lived in the South for a bit, and I'd say don't knock it until you've tried it). I'd personally recommend the chicken sandwich over the other menu items since you're getting chicken for the best bang for your buck. I liked the cinnamon and honey butter but the Mac and cheese was mediocre. The catfish box is excellent as well. However, their donuts are pretty good (and affordable) here too. ... read more
