I am incredibly disappointed and very hurt by Pima North Animal Hospital after being a loyal client for four years. We had our three dogs on pet plans for over three years, paying over $100 plus a month for each dog. After the heartbreaking loss of one of our beloved dogs Sydney last august we decided to cancel the pet plans, realizing we weren't using them as expected. To our shock, two months later, I received a call stating I owed $650 for the pet plans. When I called to inquire about these charges, I was told it was a re... read more

Receptionists just gossip, couldn't care what was going on in the lobby. Vet, never introduced himself, does an exam in a separate room. This guy, apparently listened to my dogs heart and lungs and charges me 300 dollars. I could have done that with a nursing degree. This place gets great reviews.... Why? Too many vets in the area to compete with. Never going back to this place. Rip off.

I've been a loyal client of N. Pima Animal Hospital since 2018, trusting them with the care of my two dogs, Lulu and Livy, who both have Valley Fever. Recently, I requested a one-week refill on their prescription to cover the time until I could bring them in for labs (they had labs back in July) as I was traveling for work. To my shock, the clinic refused, prioritizing their policy over my dogs' health. The receptionist was very rude and accused me of not giving my dogs their medication as I was past the prescription date. M... read more

Let me start by saying that the doctors, front end staff and vet assistants are great. The management, not. We had taken both our dogs there for four years. Paying more than other places but liked the service. Recently showed for a dog procedure and the quote was way off of what I was told on the phone (more than $1000 more). Everyone was great but management didn't seem to care. They gave me a credit based off of what I was told but wouldn't honor the verbal cost over the phone as I didn't get it in writing. They preferred ... read more

I am not one to write reviews and for sure not a bad review, but am making an exception here. I have had several interactions with this practice over the past few months. The doctors are good, but the support staff leads much to be desired. And, as a result, I will never use them again. What you do is your choice, but there are much better run practices out there. They have a bunch of kids running the support staff. I had an issue that when I arrived, they messed up what was to be done, a simple shot and the draining o... read more

Brought my dog here feb 26th for what I thought was a possible UTI or an infection in her uterus. After doing bloodwork and a urinalysis the vet concluded that nothing was wrong with her, even after large piles of clumpy raspberry colored stuff was coming out of her body while we were in the office. The vet did say that her white blood cells were elevated but not enough to be concerned so they didn't send me home with any antibiotics or anything. Fast forward to Wednesday of this week (March 20th) when I noticed she had beco... read more

Very dissatisfied NO STARS I went there to have my puppy looked at he had pink blister in the corner of the eye's "Cherry Eye" it's common for small dogs They talked me into a paw plain that i didn't need but they saidif i sign up the surgery would be discounted not the case. They did the surgery had complications a couple days later, brought him back $$ Mind you this was a very expensive surgery. 8 weeks later the cherry eye came back. I took him back they told me that they have to do the surgery again, I was going to have... read more

Read before bringing your fur baby!!!! Front office communication is awful! I called regarding my puppy having an upset stomach and one of the receptionist told me to rush my dog to the ER because he might have parvo! PARVO. An extremely deadly virus to puppies. Mind you, this was before even consulting with the vet. I rushed my pup in to have him seen and they charged me an outrageous amount to test him for the virus. My pup had been in their care for months at this point and they didn't even think to look in his chart befo... read more

Our longtime local veterinarian recently left her practice so when we got a new 9 month old kitten we decided to give Pima North Animal Hospital a visit. We will not be returning for the following reasons: 1. We were placed in an exam room in the "Cat" area. There was a storage area next to the exam room with people slamming the door loudly every few minutes the entire time we were in the room. 2. Our kitten was taken from the room in her carrier for her exam. Why? As a lifelong cat owner I have never experienced this for ... read more
