PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

The actual visit was fine, thorough quick and efficient.
I didn’t get spoken to by the doctor. I felt like they took the symptoms of my daughter not serious. Told them my daughter had a fever and was lethargic. I never saw her like that & she’s had higher fevers and rhinovirus but never acted that way. They said she probably has a virus and to just give her tylenol. It felt like they didn’t care too much about what was going on.
Exclusively met with PA student / PA entered for under 2 min to review students findings I expect more from an urgent care copay fee
I brought my 3 year old here and from beginning to end it was a terrible experience. He had some rashes that I wanted the doctor to look at. A woman called us in had 0 personality and honestly shouldn’t be working with kids. People wearing double masks like that helps anything except make you look uneducated. So we sat and waited in the room for a good 15 minutes. I poked my head out and they clearly didn’t like that I did. A woman came in and didn’t even introduce herself and I don’t even think she was the actual doctor. Sh... read more
Provider we saw dismissed my concerns about my son being in respiratory distress. She said he sounded fine but would give him a nebulizer to make me feel better. Next day we got a chest xray and it was pneumonia. She clearly didn’t know how to properly diagnose a serious condition, despite sharing my concerns including videos of my son in respiratory distress. Atrocious medical care. Had I not followed up because I knew she wasn’t taking us seriously, my 3 year old son would be in the PICU by now in serious condition.
We went last night and after waiting almost 1 1/2 hours and paying our co pay we left . My son could not wait that long . I don’t get why the Massapequa location is so slow . They need to have more doctors on hand so the kids are seen quicker ! The girl behind the desk didn’t really know what was going on and didn’t inform us about the hold up all she said was that anther provider would be coming in 20 mins after waiting so long . It’s not fair for the children waiting that are sick . It’s also a quick way for parents to cat... read more
The nurse that administered a strep test to my 10 year old son was impatient, abrasive and condescending. My son suffers from anxiety when it comes to medical testing. He was crying before the test and she said “you’re wasting time that I could be with other patients” (she was in there 5 minutes). Then she proceeded to humiliate him by saying “you’re too old for this” because he was hesitating to open his mouth. When he opened, she swabbed his throat and he jerked his head back and hit his head. She said “see what happened b... read more
I never had a problem there. This time i just wasn’t crazy about the particular doctor i had. He was not helpful at all and it makes me mad because that means i wasted $50 just to be told to give my son honey. He said he doesn’t believe in cough medicine. But being the patients mom saying i want something cause you never know if it’ll help then he should’ve prescribed me something. I’ve been prescribed cough medicine before at that same pm pediatrics so there’s no reason i shouldn’t have gotten any. My son hasn’t slept In a ... read more
