About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

I felt like our visit today was very rushed, I couldn’t remember all the questions I wanted to ask because I felt like they wouldn’t have been properly answered. Won’t be returning.

What does this mean "Business response: Hi, we regret that your experience didn’t reflect the level of care we strive to provide. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service, and your input helps us ensure we’re meeting that goal". I am actually going to send/fax report to you so you can show to that lady doctor of yours. I wish she goes through the same, and then understands what her carelessness means. And no i will not take this review off. I am goibg file a complain to ombudsman about this too.

I went to herndon facility today, and i specifically asked super SMART (pun intended) doctor to check for pneumonia. Appt was at 4.00 (for you to look who came in). Doctor was not ready to do test, and she said she knows better what to do. Now, i m sitting in ER loudoun (childrens) and has pneumonia. That doctor of yours ego got so hurt when i asked her to do tests. She said it she diagnoses properly and does not see a need to do any tests. Get that doctor a life and out of your facility. It is as if she was going to pay for... read more

I think it’s insane not to have rapid flu and Covid tests available. I don’t like going to the dr for my very sick child and leaving with no answers. I also waited in the hot room with a 2 year old for over and hour even though I had an appointment. Lastly, shouldn’t the MA swab while you’re waiting for the doctor to speed up the process!?

Please beware if you have secondary insurance. As a standard, they get your credit card information when you check in and they charged my card and did not use my secondary insurance that I had on file. I called them and they said the Annapolis office will not file a claim with your secondary insurance, and they will charge your card and you have to call them to actually file a claim with the secondary insurance and then once that goes through then you need to call them back to get reimbursed for the charges that were on the ... read more

We went to have our child seen because he was sent home from school with a fever. His symptoms included fever, congestion, cough, and sore throat. The doctor only tested him for strep and advised he just has a virus. After an entire night of being miserable, we took him to another urgent care where they tested him for everything (which should have been done initially). He came back positive for Flu B and was given Tamiflu to speed the process along. It costed $80 to determine that he had the flu since we had to take him agai... read more
