About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

Our son Clifton was seen yesterday at PM Pediatrics in District Heights, Maryland. PM Pediatrics is always I’ll go to for urgent care needs, we truly believe in the services and the doctors and we’ve never had any issues when going to any of your locations (and we have been to a few).

Everyone was so kind and it's a beautiful facility. Far and away our nicest urgent care experience.

When I came initially the wait wasn’t the issue, it was the how rude the woman at the front desk was when I came back. It’s almost as if she didn’t want to be there. When me and my son came back for our appointment she made a comment for me to “Calm down”. I’m not sure why but all I asked was will I have to wait 40 mins so that I could maybe wait inside of my car. While waiting she was huffing and puffing or sighing…either way she became unpleasant. The Doctor came in after we were called to the back. She was a bit impatient... read more

I made a visit to the PM Pediatric location in District Heights on 3/5/25 with my 2-year-old, who at the time was experiencing some discomfort. She had been sneezing, coughing and was really congested for more than a week. Though she didn’t have a fever, I knew something was more pressing and she need medical attention because it was progressively getting worse over time. During the visit, the NP asked a few routine questions, but didn’t bother testing her for anything. She said that she believed she was displaying symptoms ... read more

Check in was smooth. Nurse visit was also fine. She came in immediately and was very kind. Our main issue was that we waited an hour and fifteen minutes for the doctor. When she came in the visit was efficient, maybe 5 minutes and the nurse came immediately with the antibiotics, which was much appreciated given how long we had waited. The nurse did mention the doctor was in a procedure and may be delayed but 1:15 is a long time to be stuck in the small exam room with a sick child.
