Vacuum works great, but hard to keep cord from tangling.

The Polaris has a large basket which collects the leaves much better than our previous pool cleaner. No regrets with the purchase.

Overall it works well, however it needs to be run more than once ocassionally as it leaves debris in the deep end of pool

Cleans the bottom surfaces very well but the sides not so much! At age 63 I can still handle the weight of the cleaner pulling it out if the pool! But for some one older or a little weaker it may be too difficult for them to pull it out of the pool!

Love this. I can no longer manually vacuum my pool manually. This is the best! Wished I had purchased one sooner.

Business response:

Hi Janet, Thanks for telling the world how much you like the Polaris 8050. We thought you might appreciate the convenience of worry-free pool maintenance. Have a great swim! Polaris

I like the fact that it does not plug into the pool itself, and runs on a separate electrical breaker. Easy to clean out , without the cloth bag, and just empty the basket. It is a lot cleaner than the previous brand we used.

Only thing is getting it out of the pool-sometimes use a stck-is there an easier way?

Business response:

Hi John, Thanks for rating the Polaris 8050. Here are some removal tips: 1) Press the Start/Stop button to stop the cycle before attempting to remove it. 2) Gently pull on the floating cable to bring the cleaner handle within arm's reach. 3) Use the handle to lift the cleaner from the water and hold it vertically over the pool surface to completely drain the water from the unit before removing. Tip: Never lift the cleaner out of the pool by the floating cable. We hope these tips help. For more resources, visit https://www.po... read more
