Save money by purchasing pool products from Amazon We needed a booster pump for our pool and contacted our local Leslie's pool supply center. They had this exact pump in stock for $120.00 more than we paid at Amazon. It arrived in perfect condition, several days sooner than expected. It was easy for my husband to install and now we no longer have to listen to the screeching noise from the old one. Therefore, we are happy and sure the neighborhood is too!!!
Last week the impellor on the pump failed it looks like it was stripped when it was installed The pump came in a correct but after 1 month running the impellor failed. Looks like the impellor was istalled improperly it was stripped this ended up costing me a service call a new impellor and shaft seal this was not great I will not be using you again for this type of purchase if I had bought local I could I returned unit
As advertised and very good price. I purchased this pump and it arrived within a week to my location. Parts were all there, intact, and no problems whatsoever with this order. Pump has been working for a week without any issues. If you have never installed one of these before take your time, use your smartphone and take lots of photos as you do the job--particularly when taking the existing wiring off the motor you are going to replace (so you can refer to the photos to see how it goes back together). DO NOT BUY IT I had it for 2 weeks and it started to leak. I can not believe it . It was new out the box . I got it installed by a professorial now i have to go though the hassle to return it .
Polaris booster pump This booster pump replaces a pump that died. I assume that it will work as well and for as long as the pump it replaced. The experience of purchasing it -- from Pool Goods through Amazon -- was painless. And it arrived even before I expected it.
pool cleaner pump i bought this pump "TO REPLACE" an existing one. pump comes factory set at 220 which i have. that mean 2 wires both hot and thats all you hook up with the ground of corse.i switched the pump out and after it ran for one day it had liquid in the cap with the capasitor. zodiac pool systems where this pump comes from, not made, said since i did the 2 wire switch over they dont have to warranty anything but out of the goodness of thier heart they would send the motor only and i have to switch the pump part over... read more
Product 1 star Amazon 5 stars Ordered this product from A1 pool supply / web ware house / Amazon. Received pump promptly, about a week. When I wired the pump and turned it on it smoked, burned up. I immediately tried to contact the seller, they didnt have a direct phone or e-mail I had to go through Amazon and they would forward my e-mail. Polaris booster pump I installed the Polaris pump over the weekend and it's working great. Runs quietly and provides the Polaris sweep with plenty of pressure. The pump comes with a 4 foot length of plastic hose and 4 plastic connectors that are very handy if you are replacing an old pump. The original connectors on my old pump were very brittle and cracked while I was disconnecting the hoses. Silent! The pump I replaced with this one was sooo loud. This one is so silent, at first I thought it wasn't working. If you want a quiet running booster pump, go for the Polaris. The instructions aren't very helpful with the electrical part of installation, but if you are replacing an old pump like I was, it's not hard to figure out. Highly recommend this pump!
