Pump runs with no issues and low noise level. My old pump became very noisy in the last 3 months, so I decided to replace it. I was interested in the review about the pump head flexing upon start-up, as my pump had this characteristic for the past 7 years with no problems. I was also intrigued by the high noise level for the pump in the video. Nevertheless, I purchased the pump based on my prior good history (7+) years. Great replacement pump Works great, and cheaper than local pool supply store, even with their "Polaris sale". Very easy to install. Took about 20 minutes. Packaging is great. Self-priming. You do have to run it for a few minutes in order to get the water flowing, so you may hear some noise. Turn the booster on and off, and you should be fine. Instructions did not have any wiring diagram, so if you are unsure on how to install, call an electrician.
