It's works so good that I don't even hear it. It's the same one that I replaced it with. Easy setup any one can install it. Also a good price as compared to local pool stores.
The trick to the high pressure polaris hose installation difficulty Fast shipping! Item just as described. Installed myself and works perfectly. The hoses with the quick fittings are a pain and took the longest. Some say boiling water will soften the hose. I didn't do that. I used wd40 to a slip them on the threaded connectors. Replacement motor I bought this as a replacement motor for one that was damaged after an extended power outage due to freezing rain and frigid temps. When my pool service guy came out and told me that the secondary motor was shot and that it'd be around $500-$550 to replace it, I did what I always do...checked Amazon for a baseline price comparison. booster pump is great Orderd on Wednesday, received on friday, installed on Sunday. Very easy to replace old pump with the new. Works like a charm. if your Polaris pump goes out, get this PB-64 as it is easy to put in and works great.
cant go wrong with genuine polaris Impellor went out and pump was old, just to replace the pump with a rebuilt unit would have cost the same as this entirely new unit. Only makes sense to purchase new. Easy to install and came with all required parts.
