Polaris booster pump I was told by my "pool doctor" that I needed an entire new system for $1200. I realized my booster pump was leaking & ordered this one. I was able to connect it with some help, & guess what.... My system is working for $213. There was a 1 week delay in shipping, but they kept me updated. I will definitely buy from this vendor again & recommend them to others!! Very happy;)
Exactly what I was looking for... I knew that I needed a new PB4-60 Polaris Booster pump b/c my old one went out on me. Although the pictures on the posting led me to believe I would be getting one with the older design, getting the newer model was not an issue, and actually a nice surprise. All I know is that our pool robot works just fine again now and it's much more quiet. Pool robot had quit and pool got dirty quick. The part to fix the old was almost as much as a new pump on Amazon so we purchased and received a new pump that is quiet, efficient, and our pool is beautiful again.
Very Easy to install I removed the old one, two hoses, and three wires. Installed the new one, in all about 20 minutes. Better than paying Leslies!
Works as Advertised Had this and a 2hp Whisperflo installed October of 2012. Both are working well. Price was very reasonable, especially compared to Leslie's Pool Supply.
Buy here Outstanding price compared to local pool warehouse store. As other reviews suggested, came with everything I needed to replace the old unit. Had trouble getting the red tabs to fit all the way, but that is a "user" issue. Agree with other reviews that encourage any handy person to do the swap job themselves. Frankly, now that I know that Amazon carries Polaris products, my local pool warehouse store is SOL.
Worked like a charm This was a replacement motor for me. I found it to be quite powerful, and quiet at the same time. It sure does the job at a reasonable price. Installation was easy, and even though you have to pay attention on how to connect the wires, I was able to get it right the first time.
